The Master's Plan

The Campaign Process

THE MASTER’S PLAN is a campaign designed to secure weekly (or monthly), three-year, sacrificial financial commitments for a church’s capital needs. These commitments are to be in addition to any regular, present financial support of the church.

The first several weeks are designated as the Preparation Phase, including building and training THE MASTER’S PLAN team, setting goals, preparing promotional materials, and creating a spiritual climate for the campaign.

The next four-week period, (Weeks I, II, III, and IV), is the Communication Phase. During these weeks, the THE MASTER’S PLAN challenge will be presented, and church families will be encouraged to pray about the financial commitments they need to make.

The Communication Phase includes:
  • Use of a Promotional Brochure, Newsletters, Displays, and Other Promotion Materials
  • Sermon Ministry of the Pastor
  • THE MASTER’S PLAN Testimonies in the Sunday Worship Services
  • Enlistment and Training of the Commitment Organization
  • Special Event Preparations
  • Advance Commitment Process
  • THE MASTER’S PLAN Sunday School Lesson
  • THE MASTER’S PLAN Special Event

The final two-week period, (Weeks V and VI), climaxing with a Victory Service, is the
Commitment Phase. Members will make commitments during this time. Commitment Visitors will visit in the homes of those families who did not return commitment cards, and the visitors will invite those families to join with their own families in making worthy and sacrificial commitments through THE MASTER’S PLAN Campaign.
